The PAP foot start instructions video by Noel Humphreys, CFI at Skydragons, runs for just over 2 minutes and clearly explains the fitting of the foot strap, use of the start system and some safety tips.
Download of the 6mb file shouldn't take longer than about one minute unless you suffer a very slow connection. It will certainly play on Microsoft's Media Player 7 and should play on the earlier 6.4 version.
Download foot start file If you have Window Media Player 7 or later then if you left click it will open the player and play automatically when it has loaded. Or right click on the link and select "Save Target As". When windows requests it, choose a directory to save to and remember where it is saved so that you can open it with Media Player when it has downloaded. Alternately once it has downloaded double left click the file and it should open the Media Player for you automatically and play.
If it won't play then you will need to download this codec to enable your player. (Right click here to get Microsoft MPEG4 codec.) Once you have downloaded the file you will need to unzip it and follow the instructions in the Readme file. If it asks you for the "Codec disc" then direct Windows to the folder where you unzipped the codec.
The codec file is in zip format and if you haven't got an unzipping program you can get one here. (Right click here to get Winzip program) Download the Winzip program wz32v701.exe and double left click it. It will unzip itself and is self launching when required. Very clever really!
Note: Although I have used all of these files myself on a number of computers, use of them is at your own risk. Take normal precautions and virus check them etc.... I can't be held responsible if your PC goes crazy, it shouldn't, but then!!!
